Lucidity Receives Lukewarm Reviews

lucidity1What looked to have been the most promising game from Lucasarts seems to have fallen a little short of “classic” status with sub-par gameplay.

Some of the biggest complaints have been surrounding the game’s sometimes outrageous difficulty, immovable camera, and the lack of depth and length of the adventure.

Look for a lot of mixed reviews as more come out.

Expect a full review from us soon. The graphics / art style is great, but it can definitely be frustrating.

  2. I haven’t bought this yet, but that is a matter of being swamped with other stuff … I think I’ll enjoy it regardless.

i think the biggest problem with the game is the grid pattern that the mouse must adhere to when moving objects around in the world. it would be nice if you could just place them freely anywhere without being told how many spaces left or right they can move.

the objects tend to get stuck on this grid and as responsive as the mouse is it’s not enough when you need to move quickly.

  4. Great site and great xBox Live information too, do you use twitter? fancy doing a link swap?
