Once again by way of the @lucasartsgames twitter account, LucasArts is teasing us with the announcement of an upcoming announcement.
“Got a back-catalog announcement on Monday. It’s not X-Wing! I’m heading THAT rumor off at the pass!”
After quite a bit of guesswork by fans, they give us an update:
“It’s not tie fighter either. Geez guys. Be more inventive!”
And lastly:
“Last hint: of all the responses, only one right guess. Poor guy doesn’t even know he got it right.”
What could it be? We will see come Monday!
Just when you think that LA couldn’t get more sadistic, they do. :p
I’m guessing it’s a DF/JK game, to be honest. I still want TIE Fighter, dammit. >:|
Right now my guess is Battlehawks 1942 for one of them, because of what he said about only one person guessing it right. At the time, I could only find one instance of this game. I also wonder if any of these will be released on PS3 or Wii, or if we’ll just be seeing PC again.
I would LOVE Full Throttle, The Dig, X-wing, and Tie Fighter. I enjoyed those games but getting them to run on my PC was such a chore back then. Downloadable on the Wii would totally eliminate all my regret at getting the Wii in the first place.
